As its name implies, this car by Marijn van der Pol is partly inspired by a soapbox. It is the realisation of a young boy’s dream, meant to bring the car back to its essence.
The Soap Box Racer has the romance, technology and approachability of the box with four wheels you built in the garage with your dad. Gone are the cup holders and DVD players for the kids. You go out on the road in an open one-seater, with the asphalt flying past underneath you and the wind in your hair.
