Alan D. Joseph searched for a basic IKEA shape that he
could use in all sorts of ways.
Just like IKEA does with LACK, a whole line made from similar square legs and shelves, he wanted to make a serie based on one simple basic element.
The cross, the simplest shape he could find, normally is only used for reinformcement, but plays the leading role in BLÖCKSTÄR.
